All of the falling trees over the weekend made me think of falling leaves. The weather turned very quickly from a smoldering hot and humid last week to a beautiful week of cool (some cold!) mornings and breezy afternoons. This has been a great week to have the power out because we can open windows and let in the cool air!
One of my favorite fall memories was a trip I took with my college roommates that took us deep into Lassen National Park. 
We did quite a bit of exploring, spent some time with a friend’s family, and even learned how to use a torch to make glass beads! 
Last Fall Brandon and I had the chance to do some exploring locally with some friends, and we went to the ever beautiful Bernheim Forest. (It is no Lassen, but it’ll do!) 
I’m looking forward to the upcoming Autmun season and the adventures it has in store!

Autumn adventures are the best. We’re planning to pick apples this weekend, and the chill in the air is such a nice start. Have a lovely weekend.
