Joel Dewberry is currently one of my favorite fabric designers, and I don’t think enough people appreciate his beautiful work! Many of his pieces pick up the classic stripes and polka dots and put together all kinds of class and creativity to make you forget about the stripes and dots! Several months ago I used some fabrics from his Chestnut Hill Collection to make two sets of table linens. The first was a set with a table runner and four napkins, all of which are reversible. I really like the deep saturated colors used in these fabrics. The other set, which was just purchased as a wedding gift, was a set of four placemats and napkins–again, reversible. Take a look, and let me know what you think!
By the way, those flower silhouttes are Black Eyed Susans–the state flower of Maryland.
